well... a dog or two usually gets left behind
OK--as long as you didn't mean "lose" in the sense of dying, then I'm OK with the poem. Just wanted to clarify...
And yes--you're right about dogs getting left behind for "grandma & grandpa" to take care of. But never Layla or Heidi!
